This class is meant to follow Kooky Ukeys: Beginner Basics in a private 1 on 1 weekly lesson. We will continue to work on technique for ukulele while learning new chords, TAB, strumming patterns and of course new songs to play and sing. I teach in a fun way incorporating some lecture, lots of time for questions, play along, play and repeat, review games, some video clips and of course sharing and discussion. I have a set of songs I will teach but am more than happy to incorporate pieces the...
- Students will learn a variety of chords dependent on the songs we learn. They will also learn at least 3 different strumming patterns. In 10 weeks time we will learn 5 to 6 new songs.
I have a degree in music education and have been teaching music for 24 years. I have been teaching ukulele on outschool for 3 years.
