Each week we will learn a new song suitable to the ukelele. We will learn the chord fingerings and progression, strumming pattern, rhythms and lyrics for singing along. Class will be structured with a quick review of ukelele basics such a holding and strumming technique and chord diagrams. It will then proceed to introduce the new song for the week including some listening of tune and rhythm and some analysis of the chord progression. Students will learn chords and progressions for a new song each week. Students will learn 2 possible strumming patterns for the weekly song. Students will sing along while they chord to the new song on the ukelele.
