Students will be learning both academic subjects and life skills in these interactive lessons. Each lesson will be unique where a variety of different subjects will be covered in each class. Some examples of what will be taught are; literacy skills letters, phonics, phonemic awareness, beginning reading/writing and mathematics, numbers, counting, addition/subtraction, graphing, shapes, animals, insects, life skills, days of the week, healthy habits, months of the year, seasons, etc. The...
The students academic learning goals will be early literacy and numeracy skills. The students will also learn about everyday activities such as reading a calendar, discussing the weather and seasons as well as healthy habits. Students will learn about everyday life skills such as taking turns, respecting others, active listening, etc.
Some classes may require: a teacher prepared worksheet to be printed pencil, coloured pencils, crayons or markers kid friendly scissors glue if there are any special materials required for some of the craft activities, I will provide further instruction in advance of the lesson
