🌟Welcome to Kindergarten Phonics Fun: Decodable Reading for Beginners! This fun and interactive class is designed to help young learners build strong phonics skills, one week at a time. Each lesson focuses on a different consonant sound or word family, helping students master letter sounds, blends, and digraphs while learning to decode words with confidence. Each lesson follows a step-by-step process: 1. Introduction to New Phonics Skill We start each lesson by introducing a new phonics concept, such as a letter sound, blend, digraph, or vowel rule, allowing students to grasp the concept before applying it. 2. Guided Practice Together, we will practice decoding words that use the new skill. Students will learn how to break down and blend sounds to create words. 3. Reading a Decodable Story Students will read a carefully selected decodable story that highlights the weekly phonics concept, offering a fun and practical way to apply their new skills in context. 4. Fluency and Comprehension As we read, we’ll focus on understanding the story, making connections, and building fluency by rereading and discussing the text.
