In this ongoing class Learners will enjoy all things Kindergarten having opportunities learn, experience, and explore the world through lessons, play, imagination, games, video field trips and hands on activities. I will teach Kindergarten basics thru songs, dance, counting and math skills, writing exercises, learning sight words, rhyme time and tongue twisters. I will provide print-outs in the Classroom Tab each weekend for the following week that students may color and work on during...
- Students who continue in the class throughout the year will learn to read sight words, beginner math, colors, shapes and writing skills. We will explore our Communities to gain Social Studies skills and also dabble in Science at an age appropriate level.
For best enjoyment of this class, learners will thrive if they are already familiar with the names and sight of alphabet letters.
Crayons, pencil, markers, and a glue stick. A beach pail like bucket works well to hold all the supplies and makes for quick and easy clean up.
