Join fellow kindergarten students in our social club. Students will meet new friends, play games, anymore! Come ready to have fun! Each week students will share a fun fact about themselves, play a game and then will have time to ask friends questions. I hope to see your learner in class soon. Hello! My name is Tammy. I am so excited to teach your child! I grew up and live in Kentucky. I received a Bachelors of Science in Psychology (Kentucky Wesleyan College), Elementary Education (Indiana Wesleyan) and then pursed my Masters in Special Education (University of North Dakota). I have many different experiences working with children. I have worked in our community mental health center as case manager and youth coordinator. I have also worked in a specials education classroom. For the last four years I have taught English online.
I’m a stay at home mom and homeschool my children. My husband and I became foster parents and during our journey adopted two of our seven children. As a family we love camping and traveling. We have a fun and crazy life, but love every minute of it.
I believe learning is not stationary but instead interactive. When I present material, I believe in students moving, creating and engaging in many different ways with the topics. I will be teaching several different topics with Outschool from reading to social clubs.
