課堂經歷
This course is meant for children who are starting kindergarten this fall (August/September 2021).
We will talk about the topics outlined below:
Monday- ABC’s and Reading
The alphabet will be sung, read, written, and talked about. We will identify letters in text and also say the letter sounds.
Tuesday- Numbers
We will practice counting to twenty, recognizing numbers in text, and grouping items together.
Wednesday- Colors
We will focus on the colors of the rainbow:...The students will learn the skills that they need to enter kindergarten. These skills include: the alphabet, numbers, colors, shapes, and writing.
I am an experienced early childhood educator.
Monday- Mail or magazines that they can cut with scissors. For a second activity, any book with large text (to spot letters of the alphabet, this won't be for cutting). This is not a specific book, it can be any picture book with large text you have in your house. Tuesday- 10 small items (cereal, toys, anything small that can be used to count), paper, and pencil. Wednesday- Paper, markers, crayons, or colored pencils (all colors of the rainbow) Thursday- Pipe cleaners or play dough Friday- Paper, pencil, crayons, OR white board and markers
