In this class, we will learn basic greetings and communication signs.  Your student will be able to walk away from my class with the knowledge of how to respectfully greet a Deaf person out in public and have a polite simple conversation. This class is the foundational class to other sign language courses I will be offering. This class will be very interactive with a high percentage of class participation. Your student will receive a video in the class portal once the class is over. He/She can review and practice after class with help from the video. No prior experience is necessary. 
Week of August 22nd  - ABCs and basic greetings ( Review of what we know)
Week of August 29th  - School signs and weaving these in to week 1 vocabulary.
Week of September 5th   - Recreation/Sports signs (weaving week 1-3 together)
Week of September 12th   - Animal signs (weaving week 1-4 together)
Week of September 19th - Seasonal Signs and Holidays (weaving week 1-5 together)
Week of September 26th  - Family Signs ( (weaving week 1-6 together)

Each week opportunities will be given for students to ask questions and or request that we review certain signs that they are interested in . :)
