In this session, learners will see a few examples of acrostic poems. Then, they will write an acrostic poem together about the Fall season. Next, they will write their own acrostic poem. There will be a focus on adding a variety of adjectives. This will help them write more descriptively in other writing styles in the future. Learners do not need previous experience with poetry writing. I am a highly dynamic and energetic teacher, so your child can expect to feel well connected and engaged!
