This course will be broken up into two sections. During each section learners discuss the fossilization process (what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed, and where to find fossils.) The two sections are broken out below. Learners are also encouraged to bring their favorite dinosaur toy or figure to share with the group before class. Day 1 (In the Science Lab) • Welcome to the Lab Introduction • Paleontology & Fossil Lesson - What a fossil is, how a fossil is formed, and where to find fossils. What is a paleontologist? • Question and Answer Session Day 2 (In the Field) • Live from the Stomp Chomp Roar Fossil Cart • Fossil Presentation - Viewing the Prehistoric Fossil Collection that we take into classrooms • Question and Answer Session
學習目標
Students will go back in time in order to increase their knowledge of prehistoric life by looking at fossils. Learners should go away with an understanding of what a fossil is, how a fossil is formed and where to look at for fossils.

Roar! (which means hello in dinosaur of course).
Do your learners love dinosaurs as much as I do? Unlike most adults, I continued liking dinosaurs as I got older! I've been educating and entertaining children all about dinosaurs and prehistoric life since 2018 when I started my small business named Stomp Chomp Roar.
I offer courses all about prehistoric life from Paleozoic Era sea creatures, Mesozoic Era Dinosaurs, Cenozoic Era mammals and all the rock layers and fossils in between.
My ambition is to bring the excitement of prehistoric life and the study of paleontology to children in an educational and an entertaining way.
I enjoy grilling Jurassic steaks, reading about the past & working on new projects.
