It is a high-level, interpreted language that can easily be embedded with languages like HTML. In addition, 72% of companies looked for JavaScript developers, proving just how sought after and valuable this skill is. This is also the language that employers test for the most, so it's a great tool for any developer to add to their repertoire. Even if you haven't got your heart set on a tech career, being proficient in this language will enable you to build websites from scratch—a pretty useful skill to have in today's job market! ⌨️ CLASS TOPICS OVERVIEW ⌨️ EACH CLASS IS 55 MIN. Week 1& 2 Introduction to Variables Basic data types Week 3&4 Objects Introduction to HTML Week 5&6 If statements Loops Week 7&8 Functions JQuery Week 9&10 Object-Oriented programming We will start at the beginners level and end in the advance level. As a class we will cover each subject in detail to make sure each learning has a full grasp of the subject matter. Students will be able to interact with me 100% of the class, we will have some group projects. *Reminder: Unlike other languages that can be used in a web browser, JavaScript doesn't need to be downloaded .
