PLEASE NOTE: This class is NOT for beginners. Class will be conducted entirely in Japanese, and students are expected to follow instructions and to be able speak in simple sentences in Japanese. Students will practice their Japanese skills through various activities: Listening: listening to Teacher's explanations and instructions, Story Time, and listening to classmates. Speaking: Sharing about themselves, singing, and answering problems. Reading: Students will learn to read a few letters of Hiragana, the Japanese alphabet, per week.
We typically do monthly origami craft, so I recommend purchasing an assorted color pack of origami paper. Learners will be asked to prepare common items such as: origami crayons/markers paper scissors glue/scotch tape In such cases, teacher will notify students/parents prior to class via message posts in the classroom.
