It's okay to make mistakes! Sometimes, we can even learn from them! This class will be very interactive and students will be encouraged to participate in the discussion. We will begin the class with introductions and brief discussion to allow students time to socialize. After some time of discussion, we will enjoy a song about how everyone makes mistakes, and that's okay! Then, I will read the book, "Help Your Dragon Learn From Mistakes" by Steven Herman. After the reading of the story, students will be encouraged to answer questions and discuss what happened in story. This class is a great time to practice discussion and social skills. At times I may need to mute all students such as during the reading or for a student who is speaking to be heard. I want all students to feel important and heard in my classes. So, join me for a time of learning that mistakes are okay and help us grow!
