In this first part of high school geometry, we will investigate the relationships and congruence of shapes and space. This class meets two days a week live and has a pre-recorded investigation students will do during there free time. They will be required to bring what they discovered to class where we will discuss their discoveries. I find that students each work at a different pace on these investigation, this is why I have chosen to make the investigation pre-recorded so students can...
-Perform geometry investigations and make many discoveries by observing common features or patterns. -Use your discoveries to solve problems through a process called inductive reasoning. -Use inductive reasoning to discover patterns. -Learn to use deductive reasoning. -Learn about points, lines, and plane. -Learn the relationships with angles and angle pairs. - Understand the reasoning and logical of angle positioning. -Understand what makes parallel lines, parallel. -Apply knowledge of parallel lines in order to solve other geometric situations
