- Acquire a solid understanding of important terms like: Israeli, Palestinian, Jerusalem, War of Independence, Nakba, British Mandate, etc...
- Develop an ability to formulate a broad description of the Arab-Israeli Conflict and its most pertinent themes.
- Establish the foundation to further develop one's understanding of complex modern topics in International Politics.
Undergraduate Degree in Political Science and Middle East Studies. Master's Degree in Conflict Studies. Work experience in the Middle East (multiple countries).

The class is shaped in such a way that upsetting details and discussions will be avoided. This is a beginner-level class, and as such, it will focus on acquiring mastery of terms and history, rather than specific events.
Some news articles will be addressed, being used to reference wider topics that are being discussed in the live classes.
