Topics to Cover • Introduction to Fractions: Understanding parts of a whole (e.g., 1/2, 1/3, 1/4). • Visual Representation of Fractions: By folding and coloring to represent fractions. • Combining Fractions: How different fractional pieces fit together to form a whole. • Creating a Fraction Quilt: Step-by-step guide on designing and assembling a virtual quilt. • Practical Application: Using the quilt to solve basic fraction problems. 3. I teach leadership development for teens. At this time, I am offering a class for Young Girls (ages 14-16) however you may take the class irrespective of how you identify. In the State of Connecticut I am a certified Teacher and School Building Leader (AKA school Principal) who also happens to hold a Superintendent of School's certification.
A lifelong learner I have a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and am both a lover of and facilitator of learning. I am currently a Principal in an Elementary School and am met daily with hugs and comments from my babies. My kindergarteners are the best, I love seeing their personalities, how much they navigate the culture of school and have an innate knack of identifying all that's right and at the same time wrong with their worlds; as they 'tell' on each other.
