We will discover and practice: - pitch - dynamics - rhythm - beat - keeping one's part - vocalizing vs. playing an instrument - music appreciation This class is all action! We will sing and move. Clap. Clap and move. Play instruments. Listen, dance to, and play instruments to music. I have taught this class for the past 2 years. It is super popular. In fact, many of my students' parents say that their kids do nothing but repeat the curriculum all day in between classes. So I guess... buyer...
The only thing you need is something you can use as a percussion instrument. It can be anything from a drum, maraca, or tamborine to a leftover oatmeal container or an Easter egg filled with beads of beans and superglued shut. If you need instructions or suggestions on how to make an instrument from stuff you have around the house, message me. I'm happy to help!
