This 4-day camp is designed for teens aged 15-18 who are eager to master various braiding techniques. Learners will dive into the art of braiding, starting with single braids and cornrows, progressing to the intricate world of box braid extensions. My teaching style is hands-on and interactive, fostering a supportive virtual community where students can learn, practice, and showcase their skills.

-Interactive Demonstrations: Live demonstrations of each technique with step-by-step guidance.  Each technique will be demonstrated 3 times to make sure that each student gets a good understanding. 

-Hands-On Practice: Students will actively practice each technique during class with real-time feedback.

- Group Discussions: If learners have questions throughout the class, they can feel free to engage in group discussions to share experiences, ask questions, and offer peer support.

- Showcasing and Feedback: During every class learners will have opportunities to showcase their work, receive feedback from me, and learn from one another.  (Learners do not have to participate, but it helps me to see what type of assistance they'll need to master each technique)

Class Lesson Plan

Day 1: Single Braids and Mastering Cornrows
- Introduction to basic braiding terminology and tools.
- Live demonstration of single braids and cornrows.
- Hands-on practice with real-time guidance.

Day 2: Mastering Cornrows
- Recap of single braids.
- In-depth exploration of cornrows.
- Individual and group practice.

Day 3: Mastering Box Braid Extensions
- Introduction to box braid extensions.
- Live demonstration and step-by-step guidance.
- Practical session with feedback.

Day 4: Mastering All Techniques Learned
- Recap of previous techniques.
- Individual and group practice.
- Showcasing and celebration of each participant's progress.

Please note:  

Cameras are encouraged to remain on for the entire duration of class for participation purposes. 

This is a beginner level course, if students are more advanced this class may be a little slow for them. 

Certificate of Completion will be given at the end of the course.
