This class is a multi-day class. It focuses on how to use the writing prompt to create an essay. 1st Class Meeting: Introduce/Review 5-paragraph essay writing expectations. (Introductory Paragraph, 3 Body Paragraphs, and Conclusion Paragraph) Class will discuss the the elements of a 5-paragraph essay. This will provide the basic foundations needed for essay writing. Students will learn a basic way for them to create essay writing activities when a prompt is used.
I will provide the rubric and revise and editing checklist to help students with their writing goals.
