I am offering 1-on-1 tutoring for students who request such help. The classes will be structured around the topics requested by the student. I will focus on preparing them for exams that they will be taking in their other math class. This is a supplement to their current math class and not a stand alone math course. The student will need to be prepared with problems from homework or specific questions that I can assist them with. I will also only accept student who have been previously enrolled in my Math Basics class.

Hello! My name is Kelly Huerter, and I am excited about the opportunity to help you improve your abilities in English, math and geography. I enjoy being able to see the moment when my students finally understand a difficult topic. Students should be challenged to think deeply about subjects,but also shown practical skills to help them succeed. I have worked as the primary teacher in English classes from middle school to college students and adults. I have also taught small groups in elementary school math, middle school math(which includes Pre-Algebra, Algebra, and Geometry) and social studies.
