Sometimes, a learner needs that “extra help session” to solidify understandings of math concepts they are currently studying. As a certified math teacher with 36 years of experience, I can offer that additional support to the learner on an “as needed” basis. Tutoring can be offered for math concepts studied at grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. One class or a series of one-time classes will be scheduled at a time which is convenient to both the learner and teacher. I taught middle school math for 36 years in the public-school setting. Although, as required by my district, I did use math texts as a resource with students, much of the material I used to teach the lessons was created by me; thus I do have additional support materials for many topics which might be covered during a tutoring session.
