The iMovie video editor is a powerful tool and can be used to create beautiful, fun, engaging films.  With a little training, even a beginner can make wonderful work using iMovie.* Students using an iPad or iPhone may need extra time.

This course introduces the beginning editor to iMovie through a series of projects designed to:
-Get them used to the iMovie interface
-Get them familiar with the tools available in the software and the best ways to use them to enhance your story
-Introduce students to different editing strategies

Class 1. Getting started with iMovie & Rhythmic editing
Class 2. Multi-track editing and titles
Class 3. Narration, score, and color correction 

**** IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be sure to download all assets for our projects before arriving to class. 
***** IMPORTANT NOTE 2:  There is no iMovie for Windows. Movavi is a completely different software that is not related to iMovie.

No cameras needed.  Each session we will work through a "project packet" which will include all of the video clips and other resources students will need to complete the project.  All that's needed here is an updated version of iMovie on your device of choice.  I will be demonstrating in iMovie installed on a desktop.  I will also post special tutorials for the iPad version when needed.
