During this 25-minute class, students will use readers to help them learn sight words and to learn how to spell them. This class is designed for very beginner readers who might need help learning their sight words. More advanced readers might not enjoy this class because it geared for the very beginner reader. The teacher will use puppets to assist in keeping students' attention during the class. The readers will be made available to the students at the end of class so they can continue to practice at home.

Good Day. My name is Jamie Ross, and I love to teach. I also love to learn. But I gain my biggest joy from seeing kids "get it" and enjoy learning. I have worked with elementary and middle school aged children for seven years. I specialize in all topic in language arts/English: grammar, writing, reading, ESL. I believe that if you meet students where they are, you can bring them to where you need them to be. I currently tutor for my local school district and tutor in the evenings on the side, including all ages PK-12. I love to make leaning fun for my students. I am also a current graduate student, studying for my Master of Arts in English. My ultimate goal is to teach at the collegiate level.評論
