In this two day class, we will focus on the writing process. Students will grow confidence while writing an essay! Day 1 - Students will begin class by learning about transition words, adjectives, and adverbs to help their writing flow smoothly. Students will have time to generate a list of transition words and descriptive words that they would like to use. Then, we will discuss topics that each student would like to write about. Students will have time to write 1 paragraph. Then, we will...
Students will improve their understanding of how to write an essay, including transition words and word choice (such as adding adjectives and adverbs).
I have a Master of Arts degree in Linguistics, and am a certified public school teacher! I love helping students learn to write!
Please bring something for writing an essay during class! You may bring a pen and paper, or you may type your essay!
