This class will meet for 30 minutes once a week for 4 weeks. Students will be introduced to the instructor and each other. In addition, students will be introduced to the CERCA model for writing a great paragraph. The CERCA model is: Claim, Evidence, Reasoning, Counterclaim, and Audience. Students will then have 3 class periods to practice writing with different prompts and instructor feedback.

Introduction and Direct Instruction
Students will be introduced to the instructor and each other. In addition, students will be introduced to the CERCA model for writing a great paragraph. The CERCA model is: Claim, Evidence, Reasoning, Counterclaim, and Audience. 30 分鐘線上直播課

Practice

Conclusion and Practice
Students will have one last opportunity to practice the CERCA model with the instructor and get feedback from the instructor. 30 分鐘線上直播課
