Hello, I am Teacher Cassidy! Here at Outschool, I teach classes in art, music, and the common core. I work hard to create a fun, upbeat classroom that gets students excited about learning. Students are encouraged to share and develop their ideas. Each learner is unique, and each learning style is respected. My classroom is one that embraces confidence in learning, positivity, creativity, patience, problem solving, and fun!

A bit more about my background:
Music: I have taught piano lessons to students of all ages. I like to approach teaching music as something that is more than theory and technique – it is developing a love for the art of music. I have countless hours of experience with writing and composing piano music. 

Art: I create art both professionally and as a hobby. I especially enjoy drawing and lettering. I encourage students to infuse their own styles and personality into their work.

Core Classes: I have 4 years of experience in teaching ESL lessons, focusing on phonics, reading fluency, vocabulary retention, and speaking fluency. I enjoy working to find a teaching style that fits the needs of the students I work with.
