From magical unicorns to swimming mermaid kitties, each week students will create a new mythical creature art project! Students will be guided through a step-by-step directed drawing and then will watercolor paint their project. During the painting portion of the lesson, students will be provided the instruction to utilize different painting techniques while being encouraged to add their own creative details. No drawing or painting experience necessary. All learners are welcome to join this weekly club with fun, relaxing, and engaging lessons! This class takes place over the course of five weeks. Each week students will draw and paint a different creature. The topics are as follows: Week One: Mermaid Kitty Week Two: Darling Dragon Week Three: Magical Unicorn Week Four: Garden Gnome Week Five: Little Yeti

My name is Kai and I have a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Child Development Master Teacher Permit, and Master in Education from UCLA. Over the last 10 years, I've worked with children ages 3-12 as a teacher, summer camp counselor, and tutor. My passion is teaching early elementary and I have spent the last four years perfecting my practice as a Kindergarten and TK teacher.
