⭐This a one-time self-paced class. There will be no live meetings. In this class, students will learn how to draw and paint a Heart Tree Silhouette with tempera or acrylic paints! Designed with beginners in mind, this pre-recorded video class is suitable for ages 10-14. The teaching process used for the drawing portion of this class is a step-by-step method that will inspire students into creative action! This process involves observing, following instructions, and creating until each student is happy with the outcome. Students will learn basic drawing and tempera/acrylic painting techniques and apply these techniques to complete this project. This Heart Tree art class is designed to give beginner artists the skills they need to jump-start their artistic journey into self-expression, reflection, and creative thinking. Supplies and materials needed for this class: +watercolor paper +tempera or acrylic paints (black, red, and white) +paint brushes +pencil with an eraser +small paper plate (use as a palette) +paper towel Time needed for students to complete this project is approximately 45 minutes: 15 minutes to paint the background, let dry, 30 minutes to draw the design and paint. This is a self-paced video class where students may proceed through the art lesson at their own pace. Video may be paused at any time. There will be no live meetings, however, I will be available for questions and gentle encouragement. It is important to me that your learner's experience is a positive one. My teaching style is relaxed, supportive, joyful, and fun. I encourage students to add their own details to their masterpiece to make it their own. I'm open to any comments, questions, or feedback that you may have.

How to Draw and Paint a Heart Tree Silhouette
In this Heart Tree Silhouette drawing and painting class, we will discuss the art supplies needed for this project. We will start by painting a moon background on our sheet of paper, then let it dry. We will draw our Heart Tree design as we review composition and placement of shapes and lines on our sheet of painted paper. Once our Heart Tree drawing is complete, we will begin painting our design black, while discussing useful techniques and the application of tempera or acrylic paints. 17 分鐘的影片課程
