In this two day course, students will rewrite How the Grinch Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss from the perspective of Cindy Lou. We will read clips from this story and talk about how the story is told about the Grinch, but it could be flipped to be told from the perspective of Cindy Lou. I will offer the students guidance as they write and ideas if they get stuck. Students should be prepared to begin writing during class and complete their story for homework. This class will be structured as follows: Lesson 1: Introductions Reading of Clips and Lesson Study Begin Writing Goodbyes Lesson 2: Grinch Story Share Grinch themed Game is time allows

Hello! My name is Kristen Freeman! I love to teach, and I have been a teacher for the last 5 years. I love Language Arts, History, Phonics, Reading, and Writing! Children often struggle with these core areas and since they are the basis of education, they soon come to dislike reading and then learning.
