Week 1: April 13th: Unit 1, (Legato/Slurs) pages 4 and 5 Week 2: April 20th: Unit 1, pages 6 and 7; review pages 4 and 5 as time allows Week 3: April 27th: Unit 1 review through short online quizzes supervised by teacher, during class. Learner may choose any song from unit 1 to play. Week 4: Week of May 3rd: Introduce Unit 2 (half steps and sharps) pages 8 and 9 Learners will have the opportunity to continue past week 4, if they so desire. Topics covered: expressions and dynamics, sharps...
Students will learn expressions- legato and staccato. Students will learn half steps- sharps and flats. Students will learn notes on the staff from bass C to treble C.
We will use quiz-like activities from the website www.carolmatzpiano.com This will be supervised by the teacher during class. No sign-in or account for the learner is required.
