Does your learner love Honkai Star Rail and talking about the Lore and the characters? Has your learner been wishing for Adventurine too and want to talk about it? Then this is the class they have been looking for! Every week, we will meet together as a class to discuss seasonal and special events, challenges, characters, items, lightcones, Traces, Relics, bosses, the storyline and more! At the beginning of class, I will share a cool, interesting thing about Honkai Star Rail I have seen, and open up space for other learners to share as well. Learners will have the opportunity to share any new information they have learned about the game, as well as any new or exciting news they want to share about their own characters. Learners are free to play independently and socially engage with the rest of the students if they enjoy that as well. CLASS SCHEDULE Week of April 10 - Introductions and Discussions of Lore Week of April 17 - Team Showcase Week of April 24 - Building Characters Week of May 1 - Team Comp Ideas Class will continue to progress after these dates, and there will be even more topics we will discuss and cover after these dates! In our discussions, we will discuss: - Boss and Monster Battles - World Quests - Character Builds - Team Comps - Relics, Traces, and Lightcones - Events - Achievements Learners will also be encouraged to share during class: - Best and safest Honkai Star Rail guides - Fun Honkai Art/comics - Best and safest Honkai Support Apps - Funny Honkai stories - Honkai themed stories/fanfiction - Honkai Impact Cosplay ideas - Any Honkai Impact artwork they have seen/created - Any cool videos or memes about Honkai - Any questions or help requests they have about the game - Honkai streamers they like to watch - AND MORE! There is always room to extend past the realm of thinking usual to regular gameplay into other spheres of creativity, and my goal is to encourage learners to be comfortable to share their hobby and passions with the class. Please Note: - Players are not able to add friends until Trailblazer Level 9. - Honkai Star Rail is NOT a Co-Op game. Players can 'borrow' friends' characters but cannot join each other's worlds. - If your learner is able, please use a different device to play the game than what the zoom call is on.

These activities provide learners with new ways to interact with games, ignite their excitement, and encourage collaboration with their peers.

ABOUT MISS MAY...
As the leader of May's Gaming World, Miss May is an exceptional educator with a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing (2014), a Teaching Certificate (2015), and a Graduate Degree in Cross Cultural Communication and Education (2020). She taught 2nd Grade for three years before transitioning to online education in 2018, where she has been teaching for the past five years. Miss May is passionate about creating a safe and inclusive environment in all her classes, ensuring that learners feel comfortable, valued, and included in all settings. She has experience teaching learners of all ages, and is currently also working as Nanny for two wonderful toddlers.
Miss May is widely recognized by learners and boasts more than 300 reviews as the #1 top engaging teacher on Outschool. With over 2,000 completed classes through Ongoing Clubs, she has nurtured long-lasting relationships with many learners, some of whom have been with her for three years and counting. Miss May's extensive experience in the gaming world since 2000 has endowed her with a deep understanding of various games.
On a personal note, Miss May enjoys writing, reading, gaming, traveling, and learning about different cultures. She also takes delight in showcasing her Goldendoodle and two fuzzy bunnies. Miss May is eager to learn about the passions of others, including your learner's!
