Welcome to ‘Learn How to Introduce Yourself in Japanese!’ 1-time class with Teacher Lynn (リン 先生).
** This class is for Ages 8 - 12 (flexible). Please see our other similar Japanese classes offered for older students.

The Japanese language has become extremely popular due to anime, J-pop and J-dramas! This 1-time 30-minute class is aimed at students who are interested in starting their Japanese language journey. Discover Japan through its language!

In this class, students will learn fundamental basic Japanese 'Introductions' vocabulary and sentences. Countries, Hobbies, and Numbers vocabulary will be used to make sentences to introduce oneself in Japanese For example: “I am Canadian. I like to swim and play baseball. I am 10.”

In this class, all Japanese words and sentences are shown in Rōmaji (Roman alphabet) and pictures/props for easy reading and following along. No prior Japanese language learning is required - Easy Japanese-y!

At the end of the class, students will have seen and practiced basic Japanese vocabulary and sentences used in everyday communication. Students will have practiced verbally introducing themselves in Japanese.

Students are expected to verbally participate in the class activities and games. 
Cameras and Microphones are requested to be ON. 
Please bring a notebook/paper and pencil/pen to class. Only Zoom on the Outschool platform is used for this class.
