Let's go hiking together! Are you a nature enthusiast like me? Do you love to spend your free time hiking in the woods or climbing mountains? Let's get together and discuss all of the beautiful hiking trails this world has to offer! This is a virtual hiking club where we can discuss the trails we've hiked and where we hope to climb in the future. Each week we will be discussing a different trail. While highlighting the trails unique features and wonders, we will also talk about camping, backpacking, foraging, and many other things you do while traversing through the mountains. This class will get students discussing what they love about hiking and where they would like to hike themselves someday. December 16th - Week 1: Yellowstone National Park December 23rd - Week 2: Mount Everest December 30th - Week 3: Hawaii January 6th - Week 4: Mont Blanc
學習目標
Students will learn about nature safety, animal and scat spotting, features of different hiking trails, and more. We will focus on both famous and underrated trails, such as the Appalachian Trail and the lesser known trails of the Rocky Mountains.
