This program is a personalized, targeted approach to support a learner's academic growth in reading and writing. I assist each student with current coursework and/or developing specific content area skills to meet each student's needs. Below are a number of areas in which we can focus as part of our sessions: -Vocabulary building (including root words, language decoding, and commonly confused word usage) -Grammar use (including punctuation, subject-verb agreement, verb tense shift, and modifier usage) -Revising and editing writing (creative and/or analytical writing) -Reading comprehension strategies -Poetry and figurative language
