每週 1-2 小時. Students will be asked to complete reading outside of class time. During our classes, students will work through writing activities, including our projects. The purpose of this is to challenge students to develop their writing ability and to continue to understand how to develop their writing and arguments on their own through multiple rounds of feedback and editing, both as a group and 1-1 with the teacher. If writing assignments are not finished in class, students will be asked to finish them as part of their homework.評估
Students will be given several formal writing assignments throughout the semester. While these are not tests, per se, they can be used as assessment pieces for homeschooling evidence, which many states and countries require. All formal writing in my class will be completed with multiple rounds of written and verbal feedback. Students will have the opportunity to work through their writing skills as a group and 1-1 with me in class!等級
Grading - Students will have the opportunity to receive a grade in the form of their choosing.I am happy to provide a grade in the form of a percentage, letter, or both. I can also offer a formal letter for submission to state programs. I ask students throughout the semester about their needs for grading and am happy to work with parents to create a plan that meets their needs! Please note that Grading is NOT required.我們無法翻譯此文,請刷新頁面並再試一次。

In this semester-long course, students will participate in reading, writing, and discussion activities through a World War II course study! The goal of the course is to spend time examining the relationship between science fiction and dystopian elements and how they often lend a direct hand to one another. Throughout the class, students will participate in discussions and debates while practicing different writing styles - argumentative, analytical, and creative. Our reading material will cover two major novels and several nonfiction articles. - The Moon is Down by John Steinbeck - Night by Elie Wiesel - Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand The outline provided in the syllabus may shift as the semester goes on depending on student needs, but we will go through the units as prescribed. As a teacher and a parent, I feel it is important to make adjustments based on student needs so that students are getting the most out of their classes and so that they are developing the skills that they need to be successful.
