We will be familiarizing ourselves with the Hebrew alphabet or aleph bet.  Learning the Hebrew letters as picture letters or pictographs will help increase our confidence and appreciate how easy it is to recognize and learn our letters.  

WeeK 1:  Let’s visit our aleph bet letters:  We will focus on making connections and using simple vocabulary.  
Week 1 is an introduction to the aleph bet:  Throughout history, people have always wanted to tell their story. In order to write down our stories and read the stories of others, we needed to form and learn some alphabet letters. 

Weeks 2 - 3:  Each week we will continue to introduce more Hebrew aleph bet letters.  We will outline our new letters as well as search and find our previous letters learned for review. With games planned to add to the fun of learning, we will create a board of our most wanted Hebrew letters and gather up all our suspects.  

Week 4:  We will review the complete Hebrew aleph bet, reminding ourselves how they resemble shapes, revealing clues to memorizing these letters.  We will do a search and find puzzle, making sure we know all our Hebrew letters.
