Each week, students will dive into a new mystery inspired by the Harry Potter series. Every session is designed to be both fun and educational. Students will work together to solve puzzles, answer riddles, and complete interactive challenges, all while developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, students will earn points for their sorted house; so, come back the following week to help your team win - points build when you answer a problem correctly! However, if they’re incorrect, you lose points. Don’t worry, you can always gain them back! ▬▬▬▬▬▬ 📏 Class Size Flexibility 📏 ▬▬▬▬▬▬ While I prefer having multiple students in each session (especially for younger learners aged 5-6), I understand some families may prefer smaller class sizes. These are group classes designed for social interaction and collaborative fun. If only one student enrolls, I will proceed with the class as planned if the learner doesn't mind being alone, but the content may be slightly adjusted to fit the smaller group dynamic. 🔎 Weekly Schedule: We meet once a week, and each session offers a new themed escape room adventure. Check the class schedule for upcoming themes and prepare to dive into the math excitement.
🖥️ Technical Requirements: To join the adventure, you'll need a computer or tablet for best viewing experience.
✏️ Supplies: For each session, you'll need basic supplies like paper, crayons or markers, and any other materials specified in the classroom.
🗺️ Expectations: We encourage active participation and curiosity. Parents, please support your child's learning journey by providing a positive and engaging environment during our sessions. Parents/Guardians may support by sitting off to the side of the camera per Outschool Safety Guidelines.
This class is inspired by the Harry Potter series and stories. No scary or dark elements, except for pictures of spiders, other creatures, and dark rooms and forests. I like keep my escape rooms fun and educational for young minds!
