每週 1-2 小時. Each week there will be a 10 question fill in the blank worksheet. The worksheets I made using Canva and you don’t need an account to access the worksheets. At the end of the week there is a fun blooket game. The questions will be based on the week’s chapters. Learners can get a free Blooket account to earn Blooket Tokens or they can play as a guest. 課堂經歷
In this nine week flex class, learners will be reading the book "Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince." This is a flex class so there are no live classes. Learners will read the book when it is convenient for them. The learners will engage the class by answering questions that I post in the classroom. There will also be a 10-question worksheet for them to complete. The worksheet I created using Canva, but the learner does not need an account to access it. I will post it in the classroom. They will be able to download it and print it out. During the week there will also be fun "would you rather" questions posted in the classroom. The questions will be themed around the weekly reading assignments. This is a fun way for the learners to interact with each other and check in with the reading progress. If a learner has any questions about the reading or doesn't understand something, they can post the question in the classroom or message me directly. If the learner posts the question in the classroom, everyone is able to see the question and learn from the answer. There will also be a fun Blooket game each week. The Blooket game code will be posted on Monday and learners can play till Sunday night. Only the learners in the Flex Class will have access to the game. The learner can sign up for a free Blooket account to participate or play as a guest. The Blooket trivia questions will come from the week's chapter reading. After reading the book learners are encouraged to watch the movie "Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince" then post in the classroom what the differences are in the book verses the movie. During the self-paced class we will be using the platform Blooket. Blooket is a fun game that ask learners trivia questions and the learners earn coins to spend on upgrading their character. The trivia questions are used to test their reading comprehension. Blooket is free but learners can play as a guest to participate. You can sign up for an account at: https://www.blooket.com/

Hello. My name is Michelle. For the past few years I have been tutoring English for non English speakers. In the past I have been a substitute teacher and hosted financial wellness classes. I have a BA in Film. Film and television are my passions. I look forward to teaching class about film studies, the American version of "The Office", how to make a budget and fiction book clubs. I believe in making the classroom fun and educational. I also enjoy having open discussions about the class topic. I am also a big Disneyland fan.
