適合四年級、五年級和六年級學生的數學實踐

In this ongoing course, Montessori math materials and other hands-on math materials will help students develop an understanding of abstract math concepts. Geometry concepts such as basic terminology, angles, perimeter and area will be included as well. An understanding of why math works the way it does and practical applications of mathematical principles will be included.

It is suggested that students have certain math materials on hand to follow along in class, but it is not required. Many of these materials can easily be made at home by the student. See supply list.

PREREQUISITE: Students should already know how to add, subtract, multiply and divide. If students need more practice with division, I have an ongoing division class to help with that specific math skill.
PLEASE NOTE: Classes will be tailored to the students who are enrolled, so the following schedule is subject to change based on student abilities. 
IMPORTANT: Over the summer, I will be revamping my course offerings and plan to only teach FLEX classes through OS next school year. I will be spending my time homeschooling a high school aged daughter, and this is new terrain for me. After my daughter graduates (or if she decides to return to a brick and mortar school at some point), I will once again offer live classes on OS.
