Does your child enjoy all things spooky? In this weekly live class, students will enjoy numerous spooky read a louds and interact with each book via discussions and early literacy activities. We will cover rhyming, beginning sounds, ending sounds, putting sounds together, and letter names. I have a Master's degree in reading and I am a certified Reading Specialist. I taught in public schools for 12 years and have been teaching from home the last 2 years. I've taught preK to 3rd grade.
A pop it will be very useful! We will use these for many literacy skills! Dry erase boards and markers OR paper and marker/crayon.
Books may include witches, ghosts, monsters, and other Halloween related topics.
Our first four books will be "Creepy Carrots," "Creepy Pair of Underwear," and "Creepy Crayon" by Aaron Reynolds. As well as Room on the Broom by Julia Donaldson.
