萬聖節恐怖寫作來嚇唬你的技能

This is a course that is ongoing for five weeks.  Feel free to drop in and out as you would like. 

We will be using our imaginations, creativity and writing skills to engage a reader.  This will be a prompt driven class with a mini lesson and lots of time to grow into your writing style.  The teacher will be creating and sharing too, while offering feedback and support as students demand it. You can share, you don't have to share.  You can talk, laugh and engage other students for their ideas and feedback.  Very low stress course.  

September 27th/September 30th
Point of view writing. You will become the Jack-O' Latern in your story.  What things do you see, smell and hear that are unique to other characters!  

October 4th/October 7th
Descriptive writing with a spin on drawing.  Create a scary creature using your best descriptive image.  Bring your character to life or ask another person to bring your character to life through drawing! 

October 11th /October 14th
Write a spooky story to tell around the campfire. Remember, you want to build suspense using onomatopoeia and alliteration. Don’t forget to have a big finale to frighten everyone who is listening. 

October 18th/October 21st 
Designing the scariest Halloween costume ever.  You open your door to see...

October 25th/October 28th 
You wake up and are the monster!  A glance in the mirror reveals fangs and a hairy face
