Scratch Jr is a simple app that helps students understand the basics of coding. In this one day class , learners will create a fun game on scratch jr using a boy/girl sprite and coding to help the character save their candies from the halloween characters like bats, snake etc. Students will learn to use the "start on bump" block and work with end block. They will also learn to attach two new pages in the game and use it to display when a player wins the game or not. This is a fun class especially for halloween since the spooky forest theme is based on halloween. **** Students need to be on 2 devices and have the scratch jr app installed on one device from the site https://www.scratchjr.org/ ****
