I think your going to love this wizard themed Halloween beginner cooking class and celebration. First, we will show off our costumes. Come to the party dressed in your best costume! I can't wait to see your cool costume and anything that you've made as a diy! Next, students will make edible wands. The edible wands are chocolate covered pretzels. Please see the supply list below for materials. Parents may need to be present to help students with the microwave while making these. While...
- The main learning goal is creating chocolate covered pretzels.
For edible wands: A tall mug (we will melt the chocolate in the microwave if the mug is taller, more of the pretzel can be covered in chocolate) Spoon Parchment paper Long sized pretzel rods 6oz (half of a bag) chocolate chips (more if student wants to decorate more pretzels) Halloween themed sprinkles. Colored sugars don’t tend to look as bold on the melted chocolate, but you can choose what works for you. I prefer the kind in shakers so that students do not spill or waste sprinkles when using them. Some students may also like the edible eyes.
