課堂經歷
In this one time class, we will read Pete the Cat: Trick or Pete. Students will actively participate throughout the read-aloud by answering comprehension questions, making predictions, and retelling the story. We will have a "mini" sight word lesson and then proceed to listen for and identify those words throughout the book. Students will play "Sight Word BINGO" to reinforce the words of the day, as well as, design a costume for Pete (BEFORE class/handout provided) to share towards the end of the lesson! This class is highly engaging, educational and FUN! Students are encouraged to wear an age appropriate costume! *This class is seasonal and only held in October :)

Students will read, write and identify 4 common sight words for early readers.
Students will answer questions before, during and after the story.
Students will the have the option to share their decorated Pete with peers.

Parents can assist with gathering supplies before class if needed. Also, since this class is intended for young learners, it is recommended that the parent sits nearby and/or teach your child to push the UNMUTE/MUTE button. This will cut down on any unwanted background noise.

-A printable handout(s) for students will be provided 24 hours prior to class. Handout might include pieces that should be cut before class to save time. -Students will also need 10-12 small objects to use as covers for the BINGO game. Pennies, legos, marshmallows, quarters ect...
