Ever wonder what a breakdancing werewolf would look like? Wonder no more! In this class, I'll be teaching breakdance moves with a Halloween twist! These breakdance moves would follow the character of a werewolf in the gestures. Introduction (3 minutes) - How does a werewolf act? We'll discuss the characteristics of a werewolf Werewolf Toprock (5 minutes) - Students will learn the rhythm and gesture for dancing toprock like a werewolf - We will practice with music Werewolf go-down (5 minutes) - Students will learn a go-down specialized for a werewolf - we will practice with a go-down waterfall chain Werewolf bottomrock (15 minutes) - Students will learn bottomrock with werewolf characteristics - Students will practice the bottomrock - students can also practice linking this bottomrock with known bottomrock Werewolf stance (2 Minutes) - Students will learn a werewolf stance Full set practice (10 minutes) - Students will practice linking all the moves together in a set - We will take turns showcasing our sets with the Bonus Extra Moves (5 minutes) - Students can brainstorm an extra werewolf style movement to share with class

Music is a mix of hip-hop and funk, but has been screened for appropriate lyrics.
It is also advisable that students should wear comfortable shoes (sneakers) and clothes for dancing (not oversized). As well, students should have a clear open space for dancing and a distance from the computer that allows me to see them from head to toe in order to ensure they're doing the moves properly. A water bottle is also required for brief breaks.
