Gymnastics is a sport that requires strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, slow-sustained and quick-twitch muscle action, and so much more. A foundation in gymnastics is a great base for your child's fitness, playground skills, and future in any sport. This class is for gymnastics beginners who would like to learn the basics. Students will learn gymnastics terminology and basic skills, and improve their coordination, strength, and flexibility.
In addition to being a former competitive gymnast, I have over 20 years' experience coaching gymnastics for children of all ages at the recreational and competitive level. I have created gymnastics curriculum and taught thousands of children the fundamentals of gymnastics, my favorite sport!
