每週 4+ 小時. Each week there will be homework geared to help you retain the information we covered in class. This helps you to build a solid lasting foundation as a musician. The homework each week will take roughly 30 minutes. Then, in order to get the most out of class, you should practice 30-minutes to an hour daily. All handouts and information are included within your zip-file.評估
Though there will not be letter grades for this course, I will give tips and helpful advice on any specific, personal weaknesses I see during this course, or while reviewing your homework from each week. My goal is to help you be the best guitarist you can be.等級

In this course, we will build your guitar toolkit to help you become a competent musician that can continue to progress independently with a healthy technique and a strong musical foundation. During the class, we will cover finger dexterity, music theory, strum patterns, chord progressions, all culminating in popular songs. Week 1:1st position major chords, Music intervals, Spider drill pattern, Homework Week 1 Week 2:1st position minor chords, Jazzy hands, Stand By Me by Ben E. King, Homework Week 2 Week 3:Chords of G major, G Ionian, Diatonic chord progression, the Itsy bitsy spider drill, Homework Week 3 Week 4: 7dom chords, A Dorian, The Lazy Song by Bruno Mars, Homework Week 4 Week 5:B Phrygian, Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd, Trills of Death!, Homework Week 5 Week 6:C Lydian, Drunken spider drill, Cage system diagram, Caged system C major, Homework Week 6 Week 7:D Mixolydian, Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, Homework Week 7 Week 8:E aeolian, Relative minor, Spider drill pattern 2, Knocking on Heavens Doors, Homework Week 8 Week:F# Locrian, Good Riddance by Green Day, Homework Week 9 Week 10:Have You Ever Seen the Rain by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Homework Week 10 I aim to create a relaxed and fun learning environment, while also expecting participation from my students. You will receive a zip folder containing all the course materials for the entire 10-week course. supplies needed are, Guitar, Tuner [ free app subjected in the course overview in the zip-file] capo, guitar picks, metronome [also a free app subjected in course zip-file, note pad, and pen/pencil, and of course a positive attitude.
