*After completion a discount is available for 4 one-on-one lessons The focus of this course is playing and strumming chords. This is the perfect next step from the Guitar Building Blocks series but it also great for any beginner guitarist who has some knowledge of how to play. By the end of the course students will know how to play the 8 most common chords along with two songs that will be taught. This will give them the confidence to start learning many other songs to strum through. The first half is dedicated to technique and chord memorization, and chord switching and the second half is for learning songs. Learners will be about to interact and ask questions for the duration of the course. They also always have the option to send audio or video of them playing for feedback/review.

Strumming Your First Chord
In this lesson we will learn the E minor chord. We will learn about strumming and strumming patterns as well as reading chord diagram. 課 2:
Now Seven More!
This lesson goes over the eight most common chord shapes which includes five major chords and three minor chords. We will also go over how to practice changing from one chord to antoher. 課 3:
Let's Strum A Song
Now that we have a good understanding of the chords it's time to learn a song. We will learn a 4 chord song to play. 課 4:
Let's Strum Another Song
We will finish the course with another song. This will expand their skills to then go out and learn how to strum many other songs. 其他詳情

Peter's life has been shaped by his decision to learn the guitar and pursue music. He holds a bachelor's of music in classical guitar performance from SUNY Purchase and a master's degree in film scoring from Brooklyn College. He is well versed in rock, jazz, and pop styles. In addition to his prowess on guitar, Peter is an accomplished songwriter, composer, and producer. He is featured on rock albums as guitarist and vocalist and has performed in various groups along the East Coast of the United States
Peter is passionate about helping others reach their musical goals whether it’s learning their favorite songs on the guitar, producing their own original music, becoming a better improviser, or understanding music theory. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced players are all welcome. Music producers seeking to better understand Logic, GarageBand, Pro Tools, and Ableton Live can also benefit from Peter’s expertise. He loves to share his knowledge from his own experiences and guide his students through their own unique musical journeys.
