Do you want to have some real fun writing some unique narrative texts? Well, you have selected a class that will allow you to do just that. Let your child have an opportunity to be creative and write some NARRATIVES that are challenging and require a tad bit of thought. These lessons will focus on helping a struggling writer gain the confidence to challenge and turn their creative thoughts into wonderful masterpieces. ...
Students will learn how to successfully construct paragraphs and Essays when given a specific Narrative topic to write about. Additionally, they will be taught the literary elements needed to develop Narrative Texts. Additionally, they will learn ten new words for each lesson, which will be a total of 40 new words learned by the end of the course. They will construct FOUR guided Narrative responses.
I have had more than 20 years of classroom and tutorial experience teaching Writing Skills to various age groups. I have extensive coursework and professional development training in the academic area of Writing. I have taught writing skills and strategies with English Language Arts Courses and with the READ 180 program which contains a writing component.
Students will need to have writing utensils and paper.
