Does your learner need extra reading and comprehension practice? This is a private one-on-one tutoring session where your student will focus on sounding out words, phonics and reading comprehension.

Learners will read short stories, play fun phonics games and talk about what they have read. The class will be adjusted to your learner's reading level and can also be tailored to your student's interests as well. 

For our first class, it's important that I assess what level your learner is at. We will work together on a phonics assessment (don't worry, I make it fun!)

After the assessment, each class will consist of:
- Phonics blends (i.e. bl, br, ch, sh, fr etc.)
- Sight Word Practice (games and worksheets)
- Short Story Reading Comprehension
- Story Books and Reading Comprehension 

Class Schedule:
Since these classes are tailored specifically to your unique learner, I will make a note in the classroom with your learner's strengths and their areas of opportunity after each session, as well as my game plan for our next class together!

Students will read short stories and worksheets as well as other resource stories. This is an ongoing class so you are welcome to sign up and keep attending for whatever length of time you are interested in. I hope to see your learner in class soon!
